For the first time five Master's theses on law were defended in the University of Dohuk.
The first set of five postgraduate students in the College of Law / Dohuk University concluded the defence of their Master's degree theses this week. They were:
- Defence of the thesis submitted by Abdulkarim Salih Abdulkarim from the College of Law under the title; Contract of Exploitation of the Electronic Data Base Banks via the Internet. The discussion committee included Professor Kamil Abdulhussein El-Baldawi from the College of Law/University of Mosul, Dr. Hadi Misslim Younis from the College of Law/University of Dohuk, Dr. Eman Yousif Noori from College of Law/University of Dohuk, and two supervisors: Dr. Mohammed Jawad El-Fadhli from the College of Law/University of Mosul and Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Ramadhan from the College of Law/University of Dohuk.
- Defence of the thesis submitted by Seepal Ja'affer Haji under the title; The Preferential Appeal in Civil Court Judgments. The discussion committee included; Dr. Abbas Zayyoon Obeid from the College of Law/University of Mosul, Dr. Mohammed Sharif Ahmed, Dean of the College of Law/University of Salahaddin/Erbil, Dr. Faris Ali Omer from the College of Law/University of Mosul and two supervisors: Dr. Ja'affer Mohammed Jawad el-Fadhli from the College of Law and Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Ramadhan.
- Defence the thesis submitted by Abdullah Fadhil Hamid from the College of Law/University of Dohuk under the title; Applying the Command Bases on International Contracts. The discussion committee included Dr. Jabir Sabir Taha from the College of Law/University of Salahaddin/Erbil, Dr. Yarss Basim Thannoon from the College of Law/University of Dohuk and Dr. Nawaf Hazim Khalid from the College of Law/University of Mosul. The thesis was supervised by Ja'affer Mohammed Jawad El-Fadhli and Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Ramadhan.
- Defence of the thesis submitted by Sami Jalal Faqi from the College of Law/University of Dohuk under the title; Evidence Obtained from the Computer and its Validity in the Confirmation of Criminality. The discussion committee included: Dr. Mohammed Ma'ruf Abdullah from the College of Law/University of Salahddin/Erbil, Dr. Nofal Ali El-Saffo from the University of Mosul and Dr. Sabah Misbah from the College of Law/University of Salahaddin. The thesis was supervised by Dr. Mohammed Hussein El-Hamdani.
- Defence of the thesis submitted by Aveen Khalid Abdulrrahman under the title; Human Rights Guarantees Under the Emergency Laws. The discussion committee included Dr. Ahmed Basil El-Bayyati from the College of Law/University of Mosul, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Ramadhan from the College of Law/University of Dohuk and Dr. Salwan Rashid Anjoo from the College of Law/University of Dohuk. The thesis was supervised by Dr. Amer Abdulfattah El-Joemard.
The five theses, the first of their kind in the College of Law were discussed in the Khani Hall of the Presidency of Dohuk University occurred in the period from January 17-24, 2006
Defence of the Master's thesis submitted by Mr. Bayar Mohammed Rasheed from the College of Administration and Economics under the title; The Requirements of the comprehensive quality management in the Banking Financial Conduct) in the Azadi Hall of the college.
