| Establishment of Multimedia rooms by Korean KOICA at the University of Dohuk

A Korean delegation included Dr. David Song, Chief Representative of KOICA – Korea International Cooperation Agency in Kurdistan - and Choi Heung-Yul, Director of Project & Grant Aid Dept. in addition to Yoon Richard, President of Feelcom Network Co. visited the University of Dohuk on November 9, 2006.
The delegation was received warmly by Dr. Asmat M. Khalid, the president of the university and his three vices. They discussed in a meeting the cooperation opportunities between the university and KOICA In his first visit to Dohuk, Dr. Song explained his intention and wish to assist the University of Dohuk in establishing several multimedia rooms. The presidency of the university welcomed the Korean involvement in any project in Dohuk in general and at the university in particular.
After the meeting, the delegation followed by the president of the university and Vice-president for International Relations, Dr. Dawood Atrushi visited the new university campus. They investigated the location of establishing the multimedia project which will be set for the College of Arts soon. The delegation visited also the new cultural center of the university, which is under building, and they expressed their willingness to discuss the establishment of a Korean Corner at the new center. |
