| First Master Thesis in English Language at the College of Arts |

University of Dohuk (UoD) granted an award of excellence for the first English thesis in the College of Arts - English Department. The thesis covered the analogous structure between English and Kurdish languages.
"I discovered that there are similarities more than differences between English and Kurdish (Bahdini dialect) and they belong to one family", stated the MA student, Niroj S. Abdulrahman. This thesis was done on the world theories basis in the field of language, with particularly attention to verbs.
Presentation of the thesis was made at Albadlisee hall in the College of Arts before a specialty board including: Dr.Abdullateef A. Aljamily from Baghdad University, Dr. Mohammed M. Fatah from Salahaddin University, Dr. Ibraheem K. Sallo, and supervisor Dr. Mohammed S. Abdallah from UoD.
