The rest were distributed among different other academic institutions in the region.
The president of UoD along with the delegation talked about forming three basic committees specialized in supervision, planning and implementation for this project. A higher executive committee was selected to be responsible for overlooking this project as a whole. The basic committees included specialized technical teams of engineers from different governorates, universities, and technical institutes in the Kurdistan Region. Dr. Asmat stressed the importance of this work because of the increasing number of students who have been accepted into UoD this academic year and the urgent need of the university and other institutions for such extra space. Complete funding for the project will be provided by the Government of the Kurdistan Region.
