| More than Thirteen Thousand Academic Books a Donation from the University of Hawaii to the UoD |

The Vice President for Scientific Affairs at the University of Dohuk (UoD), Dr. Hassan A. Mohammad confirmed that 13256 academic books have been donated to the UoD by the University of Hawaii, USA. These books will be distributed among the various compass libraries according to their needs of such academic books.
Dr. Mohammad said that "These books arrived at UoD in two shipments. The first shipment arrived in October and contained 11576 books which distributed among the various colleges at UoD according to the needs of the colleges; while the second shipment has just arrived." He also stated that the books donated are all the newest editions which have just been published; many of them contain supplementary CDs with their packages.
The total number of books shipped by the University of Hawaii amounted to 24832 as a gesture of good relations between the University of Hawaii and UoD since the signing of the cooperation agreement between both institutions three years ago.
